In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I took violin lessons when I was very young, and we started practicing not with real violins, but with cardboard "violins," using rubber bands for "strings." Eventually, I did level up to a real violin, but I didn't end up sticking with it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kelela, Take Me Apart Kenny Beats, Rico Nasty, Anger Management Mitski, Puberty 2 These were each such a huge part of my transition from adolescence into young adulthood, which is also the period during which I began to write my own songs. Their cohesion and storytelling inspire me greatly.
