In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to Johnny Taylor in the living room with my Dad. I can't say that sparked my own career but I do remember the blissful feeling I got from it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lil Wayne, 500 Degreez UGK, UGK (Underground Kingz) Z-Ro, The Life of Joseph W. Mcvey These 3 albums are pivotal in my life. Before I started creating my own projects these were the guys who inspired me most. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Refocused” This is a more recent release but it might be my favorite. When I recorded the song it made me put things in my life into perspective. I'll just say I really needed to hear these words come out my head. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career would have to be opening up for the late great Nipsey Hussle. To get a chance to experience that was amazing. I also got to see him perform that night. It was legendary. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I few things left on my bucket list. I would like to become a prominent name in my genre of music. I want to start a label. The last thing is to bring forth integrity.
