In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I moved to Japan, I only had one bag - and could only bring one keyboard. I chose a very old Casio SK-1. Limiting myself to just that for writing gave me a deep love of lo-fi ambient textures, and finding beauty in simple sounds. Tell us why you chose this song. “Falling Asleep with a Book on Your Chest (Piano Version)” This delicate little track has been a lot of people's introduction to Lullatone. Even our daughter's school teacher said she listens to it a lot. I often play it when I'm testing out a new keyboard or piano sound. It's so sparse it lets sounds shine.
