In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember having a casio keyboard as a very young child and teaching myself the ocarina of time theme, (90s tings) later I picked up a guitar my grandad left me and the rest is history What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris Stapleton, Traveller Eric Clapton, Unplugged (Deluxe Edition) [Live] The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland I could've picked dozens but these are the 3 that came straight to mind. Unplugged, I remember it coming on a re-run when I was up late as a teenager and immediately coming off playing The sims and watched every minute. Not enough characters to fini- Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I've Been Waiting” This was a coming of age song for me. I wrote it whilst holidaying in the south of France with my gf at the time and everyone thinks it's about her, but it's about the summer with my friends the year I left school. Realising I'd never have that again What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I went up to London to see a show, went for a pint before hand in the local boozer and an asbolute stranger recognized me, said he loved my music and plays it all the time. Really humbling experience Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing a sold out arena show would be the absolute best
