In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. when i was 13 years old, as a drummer, I performed infront of around 100 people in an after school music concert when I was in high school, I remember being really nervous, but when the backing track starting playing, It was all just like a blur What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burna Boy, African Giant Rema, Rave & Roses Wizkid, Made In Lagos I personally believe these had a massive influence on afrobeats music. there is something so different and unique in Rema’s sound within his music that I just have never heard, and I love that it’s on afrobeats. Tell us why you chose this song. “Madda” Madda was the first time I really thought I’d made a hit, and creating it then showing it to my team was just a feeling I’ll never forget, it’s also my most streamed song so far, it just holds a every special place in my heart.
