In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up in Stuyvesant Town (NYC), my teenage neighbor Maxine played a nylon string guitar. She'd play Sounds of Silence and California Dreaming , Mr. Tambourine Man and 500 Miles by Peter Paul & Mary. I wanted to be cool like Maxine.
