About Lost & Profound

Singers Lisa Boudreau and Terry Tompkins met in Calgary, Canada, and formed the Psychedelic Folk Virgins, adding Allan Baekeland and Bartok Guitarsplat for an independent cassette called The Bottled Romance of Nowhere. Later, Guitarsplat was replaced by Curtis Driedger, but then Boudreau and Tompkins signed to Polygram as Lost and Profound. The duo released a self-titled album in 1992 and Memory Thief two years later. Their backup band includes Alan Beardsell, Vic D'Arsie, Anton Evans and David Quinton-Steinberg. ~ John Bush
