In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The video for Duran Duran's Rio changed my life. I was a child, but seeing and hearing Nick Rhodes on the Jupiter 8 started a longing to be able to create those sounds. And then hearing 'The Chauffer', I knew synths were my future. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Boards of Canada, In a Beautiful Place Out In the Country - EP Duran Duran, Rio (Remastered) The Future Sound of London, Lifeforms Kid for Today is the first BOC track I ever heard. I think it is a perfect song. The pad throughout is beautiful. The Chauffer is a hauntingly beautiful song that really inspired me as a child. Lifeforms'is a perfect symbiosis of sampling and synths. Venona dealt with childhood fear of nuclear war. Once I got that darkness out of my system I was free to open up. Tape3isGOD is every element of my sound in one track.
