About Librareggae

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I first encountered the sound of reggae when i heard Desmond Dekker's 'Israelites', on the radio in 1968. Following that i then heard 'Young, Gifted & Black' and 'Double Barrel' alongside songs by Johnny Nash. After that i was playing new records. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Legend – The Best of Bob Marley & The Wailers Fleetwood Mac, Rumours Super Deluxe Edition Michael Jackson, Thriller All of these albums have special tracks on them that i can relate to during my teens. The productions on each are outstanding and are still great to listen to even in 2023. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Christmas Time” It's one of my favourite songs because the idea was born out of listening to the popular xmas tracks of yesteryear. I wanted to write one myself that would at least fit into this category. I also wanted to incorporate a vision of celebration. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Fulfilling my bucket list of actually releasing my music which i wanted to do when i was younger. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Possibly collaborating with a popular reggae or pop singer.
