In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was two years old when my mother first introduced me to the piano. It was an incredibly playful approach, often stepping away from the keys to draw, sing or come up with rhythms and rhymes. I learned how to enjoy playing music and never lost that. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eberhard Weber, The Colours Of Chloë Khruangbin, Con Todo El Mundo Nick Drake, Pink Moon My taste in music is constantly changing. I grew up with classical music my parents played at home and hip hop from the US that I listened to with friends.I keep exploring to this day but these three albums have been on repeat for years. Tell us why you chose this song. “Très lent (Leon Weber Rework)” This was my first attempt of crossing my classical music past with my life as an electronic music producer. That I got to release the version with Philharmonia Quartett Berlin on Deutsche Grammophon for my debut is something I'm very proud of. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I got to work on a song with THE Sophie Ellis-Bextor, I got to release on Deutsche Grammophon, THE label of my childhood and I signed a record deal with Columbia Records. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I hope to tour with an instrumental ensemble in the near future. Not just through Europe, I want to see the world again playing live music.
