In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was sounding out the song “We Are The World” on the piano. My piano instructors always encouraged me to play Classical music and I had to figure out other genres on my own, so I did. I developed my ear on my own. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandy Clark, 12 Stories Sarah McLachlan, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy Tori Amos, Little Earthquakes (Remastered) Tori Amos because listening to her songs changed the way I played piano, from chords to movement and syncopation. Brandy Clark inspired my lyrically driven story songs. Sarah McLachlan’s album helped me come out and adore composing ballads.
