In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. (Lindsay) My dad was a serious audiophile. He taught me how to use his pricey turntable at an early age. Despite being in rural Saskatchewan, I had a world of music at my fingertips, from Willie and Waylon to Pink Floyd. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gillian Welch, The Harrow & The Harvest Pharis & Jason Romero, Bet on Love The Milk Carton Kids, Monterey You can add all the instrumentation in the world but it won't fix a bad song. The songs on these album are so good you don't need all the frills. Just voices, a couple of guitars or maybe a banjo and, voila, magic. Tell us why you chose this song. “Carve Your Name” Carve Your Name was written after finding out a dear friend was diagnosed with ALS. Time and geography may have separated us but it didn't make the news any easier to bear. Childhood friends and memories stay with you wherever you go.
