In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I watched The Lion King obsessively when I was a toddler. The music captivated me and at the time my family thought it was because I liked the cartoon, but I was falling in love with music for the first time. That was when I first started singing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, Dangerously in Love Frank Ocean, Blonde Kanye West, Late Registration Each album represents different parts of me growing up. Beyoncé was and is still my biggest inspiration, her album got me through a very lonely time. The same goes for Kanye and Late Registration. Blonde is one of the greatest albums of all time! Tell us why you chose this song. “4:44” 4:44 is so special to me because I wrote it at a time when I was deeply in love. I was on a solo trip in Miami, and I wrote the whole song in one night. The picture you see in the cover art is where I wrote the song, so it's forever frozen in time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Whether it's the DMs and comments from people around the world who show love for me and my music, or people who come up to me after shows. The kindness that fans show me is always so encouraging, I love it and will never take it for granted. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes! I have a lot on my artist bucket list like performing a song(s) with Beyoncé, performing a headline show at MSG, winning the new Artist of the Year Grammy, and filming a revival episode of Diary on MTV.
