In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is sitting on the floor around age 4 or 5, surrounded by my parents extensive classical music record collection. I loved the ballets. Peer Gynt and the Gayne Ballet were two of my favourites at that time. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jethro Tull, Songs from the Wood 2003 Bonus Track Edition Steeleye Span, Below the Salt The Incredible String Band, The Incredible String Band The Jethro Tull and Steeleye Span albums I grew up listening to and singing along with. I discovered ISB in my 20s and they quickly became a solid favourite. My sound as an artist is heavily influenced by these three albums. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bloom & Grow” I wrote this in my too hot Montreal apartment over the summer of 2020 during the lock down. The imagery of old houses in the woods in the song is what led to me leaving the big city and returning to Newfoundland and starting a new life.
