About Kingdom
Kingdom are a six-piece alt-rock praise & worship band based in Rocklin, California. Members include Jordan Abina, Veronica Allen, Sean Aspenlind, Nathan Parrish, Steven Cummings, and Justin Achanzar. The group members met and formed Kingdom in 2011 at Destiny Christian Church, where each of them was involved in some aspect of the ministry. While serving at another ministry for broken and battered women, primary songwriter and guitarist Jordan Abina was inspired to write the uplifting "Flood Song," which was entered in the Rock n Worship Roadshow song contest. The trio of Abina, Aspenlind, and Cummings had already been playing together, and when Abina's song won the contest, the group recruited the remaining members from their church to complete the band's lineup. Signing with Dream Records (a Universal imprint), Kingdom released their self-titled debut in March 2013, quickly following it up with Redeemer in November of that same year. ~ Timothy Monger
