In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I'll never forget the first time I played an original piece of music in front of an audience. People told me how much they connected with the song. That was the most incredible feeling I'd ever felt, and I fell in love with performing in that moment. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Counting Crows, August and Everything After Green Day, American Idiot John Mayer, Room for Squares These records captured a moment in time so well. I listened to each of them on repeat in formative moments of my life. They impacted me greatly not only as an artist, but as a person. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Just Tonight” I chose Just Tonight because it's a song that I'm really proud of writing. I wanted to articulate feelings of longing that I had, and I really felt that I conveyed the sadness and seriousness exactly how I wanted. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've been fortunate to have many great moments as a musician, but one that will always stick with me is when I played a concert on a Thursday night, and a couple of college students drove a 4 hour round trip just to see me play. What a moment! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have yet to go on tour, but it's always been a dream of mine! I've traveled for shows before, but never done a legitimate tour. There are so many people I want to play for around the world, and I hope to do that one day soon.
