About Kerry Harvick

Kerry Harvick grew up on a farm in Texas, where her singing and songwriting talent was evident early on. She moved to Nashville when she was 19, landing a spot on the Live at Libby's radio show, where she caught the ear of manager Don Light, who helped secure her a publishing deal with Cal IV Music. After her song, "Til Nothing Comes Between Us," was a hit for John Michael Montgomery, Harvick was signed to Lyric Street Records, who paired her with producer Byron Gallimore in the studio. Her first single, "Cowgirls," written by Ryan Tyler and Hillary Lindsey, was released in 2004. ~ Steve Leggett
