In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being in the back of my father's car and hearing "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder and being move to tears for the first time by a song at such a young age. I also recall being obsessed with "Black or White" by Michael Jackson What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, Blonde Marvin Gaye, What's Going On Remastered I identify to these 3 albums because they embody and represent all the things I look to achieve in a body of work: The songs are interconnected, they speak about world and human issues, they are personal, timeless and unapologetic, and have balance. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Mistake” I love the energy of this song. I was feeling a certain frustration that I was able to use into the song. It is very different from anything I've ever done and I'm quite proud fo it as my first single. The mix is effective and catchy & the solo rocks What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing my first solo show at Harvard and Stone In La in July 2022 and performing at the New Morning in paris in front of hundreds of people. It was something I won't forget anytime soon. I live for the stage. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are many things on my bucket list.. Performing in large arenas and stadiums, doing a concert with a philarmonic orchestra. Travelling the world with my music and performing in an old historic outdoors venue.
