In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a teenager, I remember having concerts in the living room during summer break. It was just me, the stereo, and a hairbrush as my microphone. I remember listening to my favorite artists and replaying parts until I learned their rifts and runs. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, Mama's Gun Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Albums like 'Love Deluxe' by Sade have inspired my approach to songwriting. I've learned that sometimes less is more. These albums have been like therapy and have carried me through many walks of life; And absolutely no song skips when I'm listening. I put myself in the shoes of biblical Ruth while writing this song. I thought to myself, "What would I say to that special someone when I finally met them?"
