In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My grandma is a former music teacher and pianist so she's been trying to teach me to play since I was born. I remember and hijacking the piano lessons as a kid by turning them into silly songwriting sessions - that's where it all started! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kesha, Warrior (Expanded Edition) Lady Gaga, ARTPOP Nicki Minaj, The Pinkprint These albums were so formative to me - not only my personal music taste, but also my sensibilities as a songwriter. Tell us why you chose this song. “Falling for a Stranger” This is one of my songs that I will never skip if it comes on. The cheeky lyrics, the production, the sonics, the trippy bridge - I am so proud of all the aspects. This is exactly the kind of music I want to make. This is pure KC Star. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to collaborate with allllll the queer pop music icons. I won't rest until I have!
