In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was three years old. Our church was hosting a talent show in the church basement. My mother accompanied me on guitar. That was the first time I performed with a microphone in my hand. I remember feeling a strong sense of purpose. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Andraé Crouch & The Disciples, Classic Gold: Take Me Back: Andrae Crouch and the Disciples Carole King, Tapestry Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Lauryn Hill has one of the greatest voices of my generation. Take Me Back by Andre Crouch and the Disciples was one of the few albums in my mom’s collection when I was growing up. Tapestry is probably one of the greatest song collections ever. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stuck on You” This song tells the story about a guy who wasn’t good for me. Our relationship gave him inspiration and allowed him to thrive. But he didn’t fill my cup as I filled his. How many of us have been stuck in relationships that we know aren't good for us? What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Making the final 3 on the Season 17 of NBC's The Voice and working with John Legend Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Give me a stage, any stage, and I’ll sing on it! It is an honor and a privilege to sing for people. I want to be a touring musician. I want to go anywhere and everywhere to bring people joy with my music. It’s honest and groovy and authentically me.
