In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The drums was my first instrument that I learned to play and on my 5th birthday, my Grandparents gifted me my first set. Even though it was a kid's set, it was everything to me. I grew up in the church so I would play my own church services all day. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chance the Rapper, Acid Rap Michael Jackson, Bad (25th Anniversary Edition) Smino, blkswn Acid Rap is the mixtape that really got me into rap music and Chance was my first favorite rapper. blkswn by Smino was basically everything I like in music and wanted to hear. Michael Jackson dove deeper in his artistry on Bad. Bad > Thriller Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “SUN SOAKERS” The rapping, cadences, instrumental, songwriting, singing, is just an all time high on this song. Not to mention this is the first song where I put a bridge and it surprised me that I really pulled it off. This was made for the kids in the sun. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My band, "Musicality," held our first live tiny desk performance in February 2023 and It was a dream come true. Being able to get these wonderful musicians together who all love and enjoy music and play it for people was a heartwarming experience. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I told my momma I'm taking her to the Grammys, even said it on a song so I'ma make that happen. I've always wanted to go on Genius and breakdown lyrics to a song of mine and production to a beat I've made. Also the chance to work with other artist.
