About Juliette
Juliette Nourredine, known to her fans simply as Juliette, began her career as a teenager performing the songs of Jacques Brel and Edith Piaf. In time she began writing songs of her own, and from 1986 to 1988 a series of live performances and albums was released, culminating with Assassins Sans Couteaux. Reissued by Universal in 2000, it was the first of her major-label releases. Juliette's next album of new material, Le Festin de Juliette (2002), reached number 21 on the French albums chart during its opening week. Subsequent albums were even more popular, charting within the Top Ten of the French albums chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier
