In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My memories in music is working on my first rap single at 8 years old. I was in Little Rock, Arkansas with my father who saw potential in my talent. He took me to "Joker Studios" which I believe is renamed. Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) J. Cole, Cole World: The Sideline Story Lil Wayne, Tha Carter III If I could put it in order it would be: Take Care, Carter 3, and then Cole World: The Sideline Story. Take Care undoubtedly shaped my Rnb sound, and changed the way Rnb sounded forever. I would rewind the album for years and recite every lyric. Tell us why you chose this song. “Do You Mind” This song made me feel established as an artist after first listen and seeing people's reactions. The sound is so original with a vocal melody I DID NOT sample. It's my greatest vocal push and artistic performance. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment in my career would be flying out to Atlanta to song-write for some amazing artist. I spent 3 nights in the studio with top music professionals and learned so much about work ethic. It was a huge moral boost to my career. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Perform on an award show stage. I just want my mother and family to see me WIN. I've been at music since 8 years old and its all I know. I have to win awards, inspire the youth, claim my musical landmark. That's what Julien is all bout.
