In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember playing Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star on a guitar in preschool. That guitar was made out of a tissue box, paper towel roll and a rubber band. It was amazing looking at video from that moment that I was actually on key at 4 or 5 years old. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Charlie Puth, Voicenotes Gretchen Parlato, Gretchen Parlato: Live in NYC Deluxe Edition Robert Glasper Experiment, Black Radio These three records had a huge influence on my writing and performing style. I am immediately inspired every time I hear them and can play every song on every instrument I play. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to make a return to the Blue Note NY as an artist and not just in the band. And every other jazz festival or venue I played at on tour but as the artist!
