In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing the score for 'A Bugs Life' in cinema. It was the first film I ever saw in the cinema and I was blown away by everything. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alice Sara Ott, Ólafur Arnalds, The Chopin Project (Bonus Track Version) Gorillaz, Demon Days Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, The Dark Knight (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) All of these albums inspired me in one way or another to do what I do for a living. Whether that be a film composer, a music producer or a music fan. They all made me fall in love with different styles and ways of telling stories. Tell us why you chose this song. “Breathe” This film score (for a film directed by Mo Ali [Apple TV's 'Hijack']) was written & recorded during lockdown. It seems to resonate most with people because it's so fragile and calming, yet it explores the loneliness of a time we'll never get back. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being the youngest composer to score a Paramount Pictures feature film at 23 years old. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like to collaborate on a project (or two) with some of my favourite directors/actors/screenwriters. That would definitely be up there.
