About Jonathan Joel

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is playing with my family band opening for a show in Branson, MO. My siblings and I all played violin and did all kinds of shows when we were young including playing on the radio in Uruguay, South America. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, A Rush of Blood to the Head Imogen Heap, Speak for Yourself Madonna, American Life I chose these albums because of the artistic expression, production, and how they have impacted me musically. I can always find some inspiration or musings for new songs by revisiting these records. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “123_Befree” This song is so special to me. I spent a few years honing it and working on the instrumental parts. As an artist I have been on a quest to bridge the gap between classical & pop, and I feel I broke ground with this song. Excited for what comes after! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing to a crowd of a couple hundred with a ton of close friends in Nashville was definitely memorable. Also playing The Hotel Cafe in LA was special to me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to release some albums and tour the world. I love performing music and long to touch lives with my music.
