About JoJo Siwa
Known for her colorful hair bows and bubbly pop songs, singer JoJo Siwa quickly became a teen idol for the grade-school set in the late 2010s.
• Siwa got her start in 2013 on the second season of the reality show Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, when she was 10. She finished among the top five contestants and later appeared on Seasons Five and Six of the reality series Dance Moms.
• Her first single, 2016’s “Boomerang,” urges listeners to shrug off the effects of cyberbullying. Though the song didn’t chart, it’s been certified double platinum, and a video for the tune has amassed more than 900 million views.
• Siwa landed a role in the 2018 Nickelodeon movie Blurt! and voiced a character in the 2019 animated film The Angry Birds Movie 2.
• In 2020, Siwa appeared on the third season of the reality competition The Masked Singer.
