In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting in my room listening to an instrumental on my toy keyboard as child. I always wanted to convey a message. While I had little experience in life, I pulled something from my soul. Once I experienced God, I pulled from the spirit. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Karen Clark Sheard, Finally Karen Kirk Franklin, The Essential Kirk Franklin Mary Mary, Mary Mary Picking favorites is always hard! I grew up listening to Karen Clark Sheard. We would clean up and watch her concert at the church on VHS. Mary Mary and Kirk Franklin were also staples in my childhood. They were the intro to gospel that got you hype! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Serenade” My debut single was my intro to the world as an artist. However, "Serenade" is the debut of my true identity. This song is a part of my testimony. This is dedicated to all who had to unbecome their old selves and became a new creature. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The impact that the message in my music has had on people has truly blessed me. I am so grateful to have been given platforms to share my gift. My family, friends and supporters have given me an overflow of love. God has exceeded my expectations. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The only thing left to do is to continue to shock the world and spread the good news of the Lord!
