Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jhamar Youngblood, Freedom Flowers - EP Kanye West, Graduation Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Lauryn Hill is my biggest musical inspiration, the range she displayed in this album is unmatched. With Graduation, Kanye proved to the world that rappers do not need to be gangsters to achieve global success. And Freedom Flowers is just so so good! Tell us why you chose this song. “Jhamar.com (Stop Sign)” Stop Sign is so special to me because while growing up in northern New Jersey and Brooklyn, I have a special connection to NYC rap music. This song was made specifically for the hip-hop and rap culture in NYC. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing my first solo project Freedom Flowers has been the most memorable moment of my career so far. The success of this project has inspired me to continue to make music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The next thing on my bucket list is to win a GRAMMY or BET award. I know it is possible.
