Chris Whitley, Dirt Floor Donny Hathaway, Donny Hathaway - Live PJ Harvey, Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea The performance on Dirt Floor is sublime and ghostlike. The mastery of vocal, arrangement and performance on the Hathaway Live should be required listening for everyone. PJ's vulnerability and devotion to her art is something to strive for. I could almost hear the complete arrangement and the lyrics managed to fill themselves in. It's rare when it happens. I still feel that energy when I hear it.
