In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was playing percussion and singing in church back home in PR. When I was eight years old I started playing the flute. I remember my mother and brother singing all over the house and my father playing salsa records. Gilberto Santa Rosa, Autentico Maverick City Music, Jubilee PJ Morton, Gumbo Unplugged (Live) I feel like I could listen to these three albums all day. They are timeless and they reflect three dimensions of who I am as a person: my latin flavor, my love for Black Music and my christian faith.
