In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In the 1990's, we came into possession of some cassettes of DJ's performing at early Los Angeles raves. As kids we would spend Summers together trying to replicate the music on those cassettes using cheap keyboards and drum machines. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lassigue Bendthaus, Pop Artificielle Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) Stevie Wonder, Music of My Mind (Reissue) These albums have a lush and tender sound that is both sad and sexy. They also show how technology can help an artist tap into a unique inner language and evoke a deep soulfulness and playfulness. Free spirited, wild and sad. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We have always been great listeners and fans of music first so it's inspiring when other musician who we respect become fans of ours. One such moment is when Max Tundra called Jensen Sportag one of his favorite bands. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We want to make the great American pop song. We want to make a song that will endure and be heard in shopping malls and pharmacies for all time.
