About Jayme Stone
Canadian multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer Jayme Stone has built his career on an elegant fusion of folk, world, jazz, pop, and chamber music, taking cues from a variety of other disparate sources as well. His first two albums, The Utmost (2007) and Africa to Appalachia (2008), won Juno Awards, and over the subsequent decade he continued to amass a consistently interesting catalog of work. Using folk music as a starting point, Stone conjured his own imaginative worlds on Jayme Stone's Lomax Project (2015) and Folklife (2017) while working with artists like Moira Smiley and Dom Flemons. He later ventured into indie pop on 2020's vivid AWake and subsequent singles like 2023's "Circle Song."
