In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up with gospel choir music, my world changed when I first heard Relient K’s guitar. I knew instantly, I had to play guitar. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends Copeland, You Are My Sunshine The Lumineers, Cleopatra Coldplay’s ‘Viva la Vida’ for its energizing orchestration and melody. Copeland’s ‘You Are My Sunshine’ was my soundtrack for its moody falsetto and sonic sounds. The Lumineers’ ‘Cleopatra’ inspired my journey to create sound with rooms and feeling. Tell us why you chose this song. “Avalanche - Piano Version” I chose "Avalanche" for its portrayal of God's overwhelming love. It brings me peace and reaffirms my faith. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my career highlights was touring with WinterJam, assisting talented artists like Josiah Queen to gain recognition, and hearing my music played on television. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As an artist, I dream of touring under my own name, Jared Marc, to share a deeper, more personal story through my music.
