In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I listened to the Cars soundtrack religiously after the first movie came out. I think I was four years old. I sang those songs sun up to sun down. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “There Will Be Another Way” This is the first song I ever completed writing. It was a very fulfilling moment for me. I never considered myself a songwriter until I started doing it. I found it to be a very instinctual process. It was also really fun to record. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing songs I had written live for the first time to a small audience. The feeling of putting something you made out there was like giving something important away. If a song is your own, no one can take that from you (metaphorically and legally).
