About Jackson Slade
Selecting a creative musical path set in the traditions of styles like country, rock, and blues, Jackson Slade also follows the measures of mainstream pop/rock, flourished by sensitive lyrics and stirring tunes. Born in Jacksonville, FL, Slade developed an interest in music at an early age, by that time listening to great masters of country like Hank Williams, Faron Young, or Eddy Arnold. After attending high school and re-developing a keen interest in music inspired by the first rock & roll tunes of Jerry Lee Lewis, Slade decided to move to Europe, where he lived for more than three years. Following his return to the U.S., he managed to record Moonrise Project, his debut album that hit record stores in 1991. The record eventually achieved considerable results and during the subsequent years, Jackson Slade regularly performed across multiple locations all over the U.S. In 2000, he delivered River of Gold, his second studio effort. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges
