About J.R.Clark
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories was opening for artists like 50 Cent, Rick Ross, Young Dolph, and Pop Smoke at major events across Va 757 region. Performing independently alongside established acts pushed me to raise my standard once I hit the stage. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2 Chainz, Rap or Go to the League Pusha T, King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude Rick Ross, Deeper Than Rap These 3 albums represent a period when music truly connected for me. Each has its own sound, texture & perspective—ranging from luxury rap to high-energy records and vintage street flows. I value albums where every track feels sonically distinct. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Up On Game (feat. Jon Echols)” I value this record because it was my first Apple Music editorial placement on Bars & Street Politics. It introduced me to new listeners who stayed engaged, explored my catalog, and helped define my sound alongside established artists. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I got to meeting a lot a A list celebrities and I got to do songs with artist that I like to listen to on the daily. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to collaborate with artists who bring depth and legacy across genres, and from a touring perspective, my goal is to headline or support a focused 20-day European tour to connect directly with international audiences.
