In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One lazy summer morning, I was watching Monkees reruns on TV. I was probably 7 at the time. Suddenly I heard this strange sound (a Moog synth) being played on the song Daily Nightly. That launched a lifelong love of synths. Thank you, Micky Dolenz! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? LCD Soundsystem, american dream Rush, Hemispheres (Remastered) Remastered Zombi, Escape Velocity Zombi embodies the idea of a synth-driven prog rock band. And for me, nobody does prog rock better than Rush. I marvel at the way LCD Soundsystem masterfully uses synths - from digging miles-deep grooves to building waves of emotion. Tell us why you chose this song. “Too Late” Too Late is my ode to epic prog rock songs from bands that I love, such as Rush and Pink Floyd. The concept of a song as a form of storytelling or a journey is burned in my brain. Too Late is an example of me taking that ride all the way into space.
