About J Bert

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember when I was about 11 or 12 years old, my favorite music videos were Sexion d'Assaut "Ma direction" and "Désolé". They used to be extremely popular 10 years ago and would release the best songs which I knew all the lyrics. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 21 Savage, Drake, Her Loss Burna Boy, Love, Damini DJ Khaled, Major Key Drake & 21 Savage, Her Loss Dj Khaled, Major Key Burna Boy, Love, Damini All three of these albums helped to shape my approach to songwriting. Each artist challenged me to interpret my thoughts as an artist and to dig beyond the surface. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Her” This song exemplifies the love and spiritual connection of music that I've undertaken over the past few years. Being a full-time artist & songwriter has pushed my creativity to a new level and opened my eyes to the real business of music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at Forty 50 "Stump It" still holds the title for me. This was my first concert as an influential rapper from Dallas. Hearing the crowd singing and dancing to my music was the best feeling I ever had since I started my musical career. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to meet Drake and do a featured song with Nigerian Artist Burna Boy. I would like to perform all over the world nationally and internationally spreading love through my music.
