In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember crying when I’d sing as a small child. Once even when singing the “The Star-Spangled Banner” :) What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Damien Rice, O David Gray, White Ladder (Extra Tracks) Ray LaMontagne, Trouble These albums really touched me emotionally at the time. I think they also musically influenced me a lot. I loved the authenticity and honesty of the artists. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Will Take You” I think this song was kind of a turning point for me. It was recorded differently but I also felt a flow or peace about producing it that I normally don’t have. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The turning point for me, when I started to feel like I had something of value musically was the first time I took my song to a demo listening season and received a lot of praise for it. Till then I don’t think anyone really respected me as a singer. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have a really lot of unrecorded and unfinished songs I need to get done. In fact the majority of the songs I sing aren’t recorded or even written down.
