About Ina Wroldsen
Best known for cowriting global hits like Calvin Harris and Disciples’ 2015 smash “How Deep Is Your Love” (which she also sings on), Norwegian singer-songwriter Ina Wroldsen has emerged as an artist in her own right. • Under the name Ina, she released the single “Suddenly” in 2004. • In 2008, she began writing extensively for the girl group The Saturdays and cowrote the Top 5 hits “If This Is Love” and “Up.” • Wroldsen cowrote Clean Bandit’s 2016 hit “Rockabye,” featuring Sean Paul and Anne-Marie. The single reached No. 1 in the UK and cracked the Top 10 in America. • She’s also written hits for Pussycat Dolls (“Hush Hush; Hush Hush”), Cobra Starship (“You Make Me Feel…”), and Shakira (“Empire”), among many others. • In 2013, she and Icelandic producer/songwriter Arnthor Birgisson released the album Northern Light as the duo Ask Embla. • Wroldsen cowrote and sang on Calvin Harris and The Disciples’ 2015 hit “How Deep Is Your Love.” The deep house track reached No. 2 on both the UK pop charts and Billboard’s Dance Club Songs tally in the US. The song has gone on to surpass 2 billion streams across platforms. • She signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco Music label in 2017. The following year, she released “Favela,” a collaboration with Brazilian superstar Alok. The song has garnered nearly 200 million streams.
