About Ian Christopher

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. South Beach in the ’90s and early 2000s was electric. From attending the first Ultra Music Festival on the sand by the ocean to crate-digging rare imports at Uncle Sam’s Music, that era deeply shaped my sound and love for electronic music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daft Punk, Discovery Groove Armada, Little Black Book Various Artists, DJ T. presents United Under the Ball - 30 Years of Disco These albums capture everything I love about house music. Though they’re classics, they still feel modern today. Each carries strong disco roots that shine through on every track, especially Daft Punk’s Discovery, a playful nod to ‘Very Disco.’ Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Silvestre” Silvestre fuses classic electro breaks attitude with sleek modern house sensibility. A gritty, rolling bassline locks in with hypnotic vocals and sharp synth stabs, culminating in an LFO-driven rise that detonates with peak-time intensity. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Launching my own label, Spectacle Recordings, and releasing my first EP. After years of producing, seeing my music officially out in the world on an imprint I created was a milestone I’ll never forget. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One thing high on my bucket list is sharing my love of music with my son. He’s already showing curiosity at a young age, and being able to teach him what I know and watch him discover music for himself would be incredibly special.
