About Humphrey

French neo-soul singer Humphrey transcended his boy band origins to emerge as one of his homeland's biggest contemporary R&B stars. Born Humphrey Milando in Paris in 1981, as a teen he co-founded the Boyz II Men-inspired group Harmony, which rose to renown backing R&B diva Lââm. As a solo act, Humphrey collaborated with the likes of K-Reen and J-Mi Sissoko before pairing with producers Kore and Skalp, who recruited his talents for the soundtrack to the 2002 film Taxi 3. Despite his connections and abilities, Humphrey did not land a solo deal until 2005, issuing his self-titled Sony BMG debut early the following year. ~ Jason Ankeny
