In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. A core musical memory for me would be hearing Elton John's "Bennie And The Jets" and transcribing that iconic riff on my keyboard. I was about 7 years old & it became a party trick whenever my mom's friends would come over. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Minnie Riperton, Come to My Garden Rosa Passos, Samba Sem Você (feat. Fábio Torres, Paulo Paulelli & Celso de Almeida) Stevie Wonder, Talking Book (Reissue) I am an avid Brazilian Music enthusiast so I am constantly engaging with those sounds. On top of those records, I am equally inspired by music of the past which explain the Stevie & Minnie choices. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One highlight I'd say would be my debut performance in New York. I'm from South Carolina so it was cool to blend those worlds together. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course, I am just getting started. There's so much to look forward to. (2023)
