Hi Ho

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 5, my mom and I were listening to The Real World by Matchbox 20 and I heard the opening lyric, "I wonder what it's like to be a rain maker." I asked, "What does that mean?" and she had never thought about it before! I loved words early on. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Horizon” This song represents the rebirth of Hi Ho; what started as a solo project is now a 5-piece band with huge guitars, striking vocals and a moody, melodic sound. Horizon uses slice-of-life vignettes to remind us that we can be the hero of our own story. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My old band Turnspit was asked to open up for Rise Against at St. Andrews in Detroit in 2018. Not only did we play, but I got to sing on stage with them during their hit "Give It All" and it's the most beautiful music memory I've made so far.
