About Her Parents

Describing themselves as “just a great bunch of guys playing some punk music”, Her Parents were formed in the summer of 2012, with three of the four members from other bands that had either disbanded or didn’t quite satisfy their need to play loud, raucous punk. Internet Forever's Christopher Alcxxk (vocals/guitar), Dananananaykroyd's Calum Gunn (guitar), Stairs to Korea’s Vilhjálmur Pétur (drums), and Sean Clothier (bass/vocals) joined forces in London and quickly recorded their first album, Physical Release. With songs like “Justin Vernon” (a strange, twisted ode to the Bon Iver frontman) and “What Is Your Dad Called?”, Her Parents had tongues firmly resting in cheeks on their debut, which was ironically available via download only. ~ Daniel Clancy
