Born Rasmus Hedegaard Sørensen, Hedegaard is Danish DJ/producer known for his own European trance-pop hits and for remixes, including many of popular rappers. He first attracted attention with a pulsing unofficial remix of Dr. Dre's "The Next Episode" posted online in 2011. It became a viral smash in Europe, accumulating tens of millions of views. He was then featured along with Clemens on Jon Nørgaard's 2012 hit "Vi Ejer Natten," and returned to the Danish charts on collaborations with Kesi and Birkkjær in 2013. Featuring Lukas Graham and a soaring melody, his 2014 international streaming hit "Happy Home" topped the singles chart in Denmark, also charting in Norway and Sweden. That same year, Hedegaard's remix of "Twerk It Like Miley," with Brandon Beal featuring Christopher, also hit number one. He followed that with the Top 30 song "Make You Proud," and in 2015 "Smile & Wave," again with Brandon Beal, reached number 12. He collaborated with Stine Bramsen of Alphabeat on 2016's "Keep Dreaming," and 2017 brought the singles "That's Me," "Go Back," and "Ready to Love You."
