In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Dad was in a disco band and the first song I ever learned was on flute. It was the hook to the classic disco song, "The Hustle". I'll always remember groovin' out to that line, even when I could barely even play. The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album) It has such an emotional range, and the type I dig. It's real and it's quirky and hopeful. I can go from crying to laughing within a song. Amazing. It's fun, and sassy & sends a good message. It's an affirmation for life and it helped me get through a hard time this past year. I sing it when I'm down and then I'm immediately up.
