In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember figuring out how to work the 'record' button on our first keyboard and being able to layer multiple parts on top of one another - it was like magic. Then also remembering unplugging the keyboard would accidentally erase it all. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kacey Musgraves, Golden Hour Metric, Synthetica Sylvan Esso, Sylvan Esso Sylvan Esso is that rare mixture of folk roots and electronic production that just really clicks for me. Metric will always be my favorite and Kacey Musgraves has one of the most perfect voices mixed with so much imagery in the lyrics. Tell us why you chose this song. “Growing Up to Grow Apart” Listening to this song really brings me back to those moments in my childhood in Boise, Idaho. Having your first best friend and losing them to time and growing older. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting the honor and privilege to write the song "Monster" for Adventure Time: Distant Lands. When fans of the show put out their own versions or send along a note letting me know how much it means to them, it's such an amazing feeling. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've never really had a bucket list with my music. It has always been an outlet, a space to learn and digest the world, but there's no list I'm crossing off, only a list of things I've been grateful to accomplish.
